Hotel amenities were great! Room was nice and clean, but very small. However, we requested two beds, thus less room. Great lounge - very spacious. Very pleasant lobby with fountains, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was Excellent accept for the $* a day parking fee that I had to pay for 4 days which cost me an extra $* that I had'nt figure into my budget. Had Travel Website inform me before-hand I would have chosen another hotel. All-in-all I had a wonderful time.

The Westin is a beautiful hotel with plenty to do inside (shops) and located in a great spot. The room was a little chilly and we couldnt seem to adjust the temperature accordingly. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The beds were comfortable and the halls quiet. Overall, I give them four stars.

It would be ok if it was a 2 or 3 star, but not for the claimed 4 stars. The room was clean, but outdated and the carpet is a bit old and should be replaced. The charge absurd $ 35 just for the overnight parking, and theres no option or self parking, and charge extra during the day. They charge almost $15 for the internet access in the room, and provide no breakfast. Just with the price of these 3 items added you can find a better hotel in the area. Externally the hotel is very beautiful, and has a nice view of the city and hollywood sign from the higher room windows, but internally it's ugly and confusing. The lack of signs make you wander a lotamong alleys and escalators until you find the elevators Part of the personnel was kind, but some of them were very rude, specially in the parking area. Cashier ladies were no kind at all, and had no patience on explaining the (abusive) parking rates, and the obligatory valet men were always expecting a tip, even when they didnt help me to take my baggage or bags from the car in any single ocasion. I definitely wouldn't stay again. Actually, I'm leaving to find another hotel, more valuable for the money it charges. The surrounding area is very unsafe, and its not a good idea to come to walk around at night

Came out for my first trip to LA. The hotel was immaculate and the service was even better. The valets were courteous, the concierge was very helpful, and the restaurant choices were to die for and had accommodations from very pricey to low budget. Will ONLY stay here when I go back to LA again.
