No problems with this hotel. The room was pleasingly decorated, comfortable, and was surprisingly quiet inspite of line of site exposure to LAX runways. Add approx. $ */night to the quoted room rate for parking and internet access. The sales staff managed our 3 day event, which required several meeting rooms and banquet, very well.

The Hotel was better than I expected...When I called down to the front guest, the staff greeted me by name. The all around staff were great!...The bed was comfortable and the hotel was in a good location to hit the surrounding cities without having to take the express way...it was close to the airport, rental car companies, and all...there is a shuttle that runs back to back...taking you to the airport and other hotels that are near...it was a stressless experience leaving a lot of room for fun!

I stayed at the Gateway for one night at LAX. Checkin was prompt and very efficient. the room was fine by any standard for the price I paid ($89); indeed good value, with good TV and comfortable bed. My complaint was with the food outlets. The restaurant closed at 10 and I was shunted over to the lobby bar where I waited for 15 minutes for service. I finally gave up and ordered room service. The food quality was good but overpriced: $* for a salad and soup! I wouldn't stay there next time. i'd go back to Sheraton 4 points which is a step down in terms of looks but had better service when I stayed there in the past.
