I booked a room with two double beds for my stay last weekend with my mother. Upon arrival, the front desk clerk informed us that we had to take a room with one king bed. It was difficult to believe there was not one room in that huge hotel that had two beds in it. We were offered a rollaway cot, but we know how uncomfortable those are. The clerk made no effort to locate the type of room we had booked. We feel some sort of rebate is in order. We booked at a Marriott because of its great reputation and were very disappointed.

The Marriott LAX is by far one of the best hotels we have stayed in the past couple of years. The staff was excellent and very friendly. The restaurants were very good and the location to all of LA and SoCal was great. My family and I stayed for an extended period over Christmas and it was very comfortable. Although the rooms are not very well suited for young children and parking is on the expensive side. I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here with an infant on a family vacation to LA. The hotel is very close to the ariport and is therfore convenient for air travel. The room is clean and quite modern. The beds are twin bed and not queen. However, everything other than the stay is separately charged. No breakfast, internet access is $12.95 per day and parking is $23 per day. There is no microwave or fridge either. Overall, the hotel may suit businees travellers using LAX but leaves a lot to be desired for family vacationers.

I love Marriott hotels. This was another good experience. The hotel was a bit old, but decent, and clean. Staffs were very pleasant and helpful. Internet service was good. The room was not bad for a single traveler. Although in the airport area, the hotel room was reasonably quiet. The computers for checking in flights, and printing boarding passes were very useful. Airport shuttles were efficient and the drivers were very helpful. Thanks for providing these services. The bed and pillows were less comfortable than most hotels I visited. Elevators need to be upgraded. People line up to use them, which was not nice at all. All the meals were good, except a buffet (provided by my conference) at the poolside was terrible. Conference rooms were ok. I visited the saloon for a manicure, which was ok, but a bit on the expensive side. I was sorry the in room massage service was no longer available.

I have stayed in many other hotels before but this hotel is amazing!!! I love the pool area, has a pool and a spa. There is also a japanese type waterfall and a bridge. The rooms with pool view are awesome. The breakfast buffet is the BEST!!! Totally recommend to everyone. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast as well the room service. The parking is small if you are self parking, you will have a hard time finding parking suggest better the valet is only 5 dollars difference. Is very luxury and nice in any way. Will definitely try to stay at this hotel
