My wife and two sons stayed 4 nights. We had a great time. Staff were great. Beautiful hotel great location. Hate to complain the only problem we had was with the air-conditioner it was very loud and did not cool the room in mid-afternoon. I would give this hotel an 8 out of 10. Oh the pool was fantastic and the weight room.

Based on the reviews I read on this and other websites, I thought this would be the perfect place to stay for our first L.A. trip. We stayed for 10 days and most of the hotel staff are pleasant and try to be helpful, but there are others that treat guests like third class citizens if you don't look like you have lots of money. I have to say that the rooms were nice, beds comfy and very clean. The staff is what ruined the stay for me. I had some problems with billing and was told I would be contacted but instead no one contacted me and the charges were just put on my credit card. DO not use their rental service it is the worst service possible. You never get the car that you ask for and then on top of the rental the hotel charges you for parking, but when you rent the car they tell you it is included. I was charged over $* for doing what I was told when returning the car, which was giving the hotel valet the car to park until the rental company picked it up. Very poor customer service from the front desk and management. I would not reccommend this hotel to anyone.

I use to stay there whenever in the LA area. They need to do some upkeep on the hotel. The chairs on the patio were rotted and you had to cover with a towel to sit on them. Bathroom comode seat loose and didn't fix while we were there. They tried to add a $* parking charge to our bill and finally told them I wasn't leaving the desk until fixed. Overall going downhill fast.

I stayed three nights and it was delightful. The concierge was very helpful, he was able to get all the tours I needed and gave me advise as to which ones to choose. The entire hotel staff: front desk, doormen, attendants, etc, were all very friendly and serviceable. The hotel has a free car and driver to drop you off or pick you up within 5 miles of the hotel. I used it daily. I had a mini suite and it was very clean, modern, efficient and pleasing to the eyes. The bed was done twice a day: morning and night. Free bottled water every night and free newspaper of choice every day. I had four feathered very comfortable pillows and a nice Queen size bed. Free internet in the room and free internet in the lobby.

We really enjoyed having a balcony with patio furniture. The hotel was nicely decorated, and very clean. The only negative is the VERY EXPENSIVE valet parking. This hotel does not have a parking garage, so basically you are stuck.
