I was very pleased with my stay at Holiday Inn near the airport. The parking was easily accessible which is very important to me when traveling alone. The rooms are spacious and inviting. It was a very nice stay.

Its ok for the money
06/01/2010Positives: cheep, near airport and car rental, room was clean and most staff was friendly. negatives: a little ghetto outside the hotel, concierge very unhelpful and rude to english speakers ...
Positives: Cheep, near airport and car rental, room was clean and most staff was friendly. Negatives: A little ghetto outside the hotel, concierge very unhelpful and rude to English speakers but pleasant when speaking to others in Spanish, no hot water to speak of in the late mornings.

I thought the Hotel was good. Employees were friendly. The rooms were clean and nice. My only problem with the hotel is that they have signs saying the parking fee is $* per day (Which I do think is expensive) and then you get your bill and it comes to *. I stayed twice, it is a flat thing. They know without a doubt you are going to be charged * so they need to clearly show that.

My daughter got stuck at LAX at spring break and no one in the group had a credit card. Yes, I know, they were not prepared for an emergency or a change in plans. I had to fax my drivers license and credit card info to the hotel in order to pay for the room. Three days later, someone used my card to make a flight reservation with Delta to fly from from Lax to Atlanta, over $*. BE CAREFUL. I do want to add that Holiday Inns have always been my place to stay as I am a frequent business traveler throughout Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and New Mexico.

They were friendly nice and the place was clean. I had to pay 15/day for parking but swimming in the heated pool at night and watching planes fly overhead was fun. We didnt eat in as I was on a budget. The bartender gave my daughter a teabag to take back to the room no charge. There is a McDonalds across the lot and a Taco Bell/Pizza Hut one block away. The beds were comfortable and I noticed several airline pilots and flight attendants use this hotel.
